So what about the food? Well, you won't go hungry at Casa Nova!! There is always an extensive A La Carte menu on offer, with a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, often delivered with a modern twist. Carefully sourced, high quality ingredients freshly cooked to order mean that your meal will be piping hot and delicious. The waiters know about food, so they can help guide you through the menus and daily specials. On the menu is a selection of starters, such as home-made soup of the day, freshly grilled sardines or prawn & chilli crostone. Fish dishes, such as sea bass with white wine & herbs or scampi thermidor are beautifully cooked, with seasonal specials such as lobster, on offer. The veal and steaks are probably the best you have ever tasted, and there are also chicken, duck, pork, lamb and liver dishes to tempt your taste buds. No Italian restaurant would be complete without a selection of pasta dishes, and Casa Nova is no exception to this rule! Favourites such as seafood spaghetti, crab ravioli with lobster sauce or, of course; lasagne, are available as starters or main courses.

Fine Dining

Sunday lunch is always very popular at Casa Nova, so you need to book in advance. The 3 course menus are rotated, so you have plenty of choice, but the roast beef is always very popular. Weekday lunch menus are changed regularly, and give real value for money for a 2 or 3 course meal. With free parking right outside, Casa Nova is perfect for a quick lunch with colleagues, or a leisurely treat with friends; and of course, you can always walk off those calories with a stroll around the beautiful Virginia Water Lake, just a couple of minutes drive away. On Monday to Thursday evenings, the set menu offers a great choice of tasty treats, such as Parma ham or garlic mushrooms to start, followed by veal escalope in a dreamy brandy, cream and peppercorn sauce or a choice of delicious pasta dishes, cooked to taste and then a daily choice of desserts, such as tiramisu or profiteroles.

Welcome

Tucked away in a parade of local shops in Virginia Water, Casa Nova is surprisingly light and spacious inside. Jose and his team of waiters go out of their way to provide good old-fashioned service; greeting you at the door with a warm welcome and giving you discreet attention throughout your meal, with some jolly banter where appropriate. When the restaurant is full, there is a buzz of laughter and chat, bu the tables are well enough spaced that you don't have to listen to your neighbour's conversation.
