Out of date items on sale
Check the sell by dates as I have twice come home and unpacked foods which are well past their use by dates. One chicken smelt absolutely rank when unwrapped. They gave me a refund after a 27 minute wait at the customer services. I wouldn't buy meat there again, and very rarely go to that branch.

Free parking, bright open store
Bright, clean, fairly new store with free parking and petrol station. Unfortunately let down by having so many items out of stock, especially items on special offer. Impossible to do the whole shop at Sainsburys as there are always items missing. Lots of checkouts, but usually considerably less than half open, so can be slow checking out even though the store is never very busy. Fruit and veg not always in best condition with items still displayed past their sell by date. I would not buy poultry, meat or fish there as have had Sainsbury branded two whole chickens, chicken breasts and salmon fillets, well within their sell by date, that smelt "off" when opened. Okay for staples, but not great for fresh meat, fish or vegetables. Hard to find any staff to answer questions or help locate items. Good parking.
