HPC, The Lodnon Polo Club is 90 years old. As such we have a very exciting playing season ahead of us together with a fantastic range of Calendar of Events to coincide with this most unique and special anniversary year.
Established in 1926 and formerly known as Ham Polo Club, we were the first British Polo Club to restart after the Second World War and are very proud of our heritage in being the last remaining polo club in Greater London and the home of urban polo.

About

Should you wish to come down to see the action, the polo season runs from the beginning of May to the end of September 2011. There are matches every Sunday throughout the summer starting at around 2pm. The HPC is based in South West London, close to the River Thames. The cost for cars is £10 (occupants free) or £2 for pedestrians so bring your picnic and join us! Enquiries for social membership (currently £150 per annum for singles and £225 per annum for families + £100 joining fee) or for further details.

Membership

All members of HPC receive a number of discounts with the Club's partners and reciprocal benefits at other clubs, eg Gaucho Restaurants, Bang and Olfsen and The Bucks Club. Membership categories include seven different types of Playing, both Family and Social, Picnic and three tiers of Corporate. Private one hour lessons for individuals or groups are also available including horse rental for non members of all ages with our fully qualified and experienced HPA Coaches and Instructors.

Corporate

HPC is available for hire to Corporate Clients for entertaining throughout the year in a quiet beautiful location, relaxed and at ease whilst enjoying a gourmet lunch or an Argentine Assado whilst watching the spectacular and highly exciting game of polo only yards from your table. Private Polo days with organised matches for several hundred guests together with Learn to Play Polo days for groups of 5 to 40 persons are a great team building event with no experience necessary.

There are a variety of sponsorship options ranging from all year round Pitch-side and Grandstand Hoardings and Boards; a full page 4 Colour Advertisement in the Annual HPC magazine and Weekly Fixture Cards; Sunday Match Days; Tournaments and Prizes for the Sunday Matches which take place every week from May to the end of September.

Clubhouse and Grounds

HPC's lovely Colonial Style Clubhouse and adjacent Grounds are available for hire and are ideal for Weddings, Parties, Product Launches, Lunches, Dinners and Client Entertaining for 150 guests, whilst larger events can also be accommodated in a bespoke marquee. The joy of HPC is that you can decide how large or small you want your event to be, either with or without your very own Polo Team and personalised Trophy and Prizes bearing your company logo. Although quintessentially English, HPC has a truly international flavour and provides a memorable experience for all visitors whether it be for business, pleasure or a mixture of both.

Public Admissions and Picnics

The Club welcomes all visitors and non-members on Sundays throughout the playing season from May to September and on selected Saturdays for larger Public Polo Events. Hunt Kendall Catering and Event Management

Our preferred Catering and Hospitality suppliers, Hunt Kendall, have been based at Ham Polo Club for over 15 years and offer a fully equipped onsite facility for both indoor and outdoor events no matter how large or small. Whether a small intimate cocktail party or a huge corporate or private event, Hunt Kendall will organise everything from an exquisite and most delicate canapé to the grandest of marquees. Between them, they have over 20 years experience in all aspects of event management for Charity, Family and Company days as well as countless wonderful private parties and stunning weddings both at ham Polo club and other venues around the country.

Polo and Charity

HPC has a long and proud tradition of supporting charities, both National and International, by helping to raise funds for those less fortunate than ourselves. Polo is a wonderful medium to be able to combine both an enjoyable day as well as contributing to worthy causes.
