Our aim is to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible. This fine Victorian country house was converted to a private hotel in the mid 1960's. It is ideally situated and a superb base for visiting many local attractions.

Rooms

We have 22 comfortable bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, colour television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer and alarm clock/radio. Broadband internet access is also available in most rooms. For the bride and groom, or for those that want something extra special, we have one room complete with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath.

Special rates apply for guests attending a function.

Special seasonal menus are always popular additions to our regular dishes. On Sundays we also offer an outstanding traditional Sunday Roast.

Our extensive wine list is full of "old favourites" and some delightful "new world" wines to cater for varied palettes. Should you need advice on your selection, our designated staff will be pleased to help you.

If you are dining as a party, or are planning a wedding or special occasion you can book the Adam Room, Prince Room or our superb Sovereign Suite and are welcome to relax in the lounge bar with pre-meal drinks.
