Cranmore is one of the leading independent boys' prep schools in Surrey, situated in West Horsley between Guildford and Leatherhead. The main entry points for children are 2½ (co-ed Nursery), 4+ (Reception) and 7+ (Year 3).

You will quickly discover who we are and what we can do for your son to enable him to enjoy school and reach his full potential. Of course, your daughter is welcome too in Bright Stars, our co-educational nursery school which has recently been extended and provides year-round care.
The website can only impart a flavour of life at Cranmore and you are most warmly invited to come and see us as we would love to show you round. Visiting us will deliver a deeper understanding of our excellent academic, sporting and music opportunities which are supported by our strong Catholic ethos and pastoral care.
We provide each boy with the opportunity to grow and develop within an outstanding educational environment which is stimulating, challenging and rewarding.We want our pupils to ‘have a go' so that they can discover and develop their talents in as many aspects as possible. Bright Stars Nursery

We welcome boys and girls from the age of 2½ years. On entering Bright Stars there is a vibrant buzz with children absorbed in many activities including role play - firemen, princesses, chefs - baking, designing, constructing and investigating. You will see immediately that our children simply love to learn!

Of course, we use the outstanding facilities at Cranmore with acres of grounds to explore, a junior ICT suite and our well-equipped Gym and separate Sports Hall. The children enjoy Music lessons from a specialist teacher and, when they are ready, Swimming lessons in our stunning indoor pool.

Bright Stars Nursery is the first phase of Cranmore School and it is expected that all nursery children will progress to our junior department.
