Typical yates bar
Having spent many drunken evenings I for one am very sorry it has closed. Where else in Guildford can you get a round of drinks with a tenner and still get change? I agree that the service from bar staff from pretty poor although I always thought it was a little better than any other bar nearby and wasn't half as packed as Flares or Weatherspoons. Food was shocking and I definitely won't miss their Curry or Sunday lunch meals. On the plus, it was one of a few places whereby you could get a seat on a Friday night and that certainly can't be a bad thing.

Good Music! That's about it!
It's the usual Yates. Expect what you always expect from chain bars. Not too bad. Not too original either. Though, Guildford Yates always has the best DJ in town on Weekends.
