This place used to be really good - but the landlord/chef left and the place is a disaster. I came here with 3 other people looking for a good place for lunch. We should have known as soon as we entered - no one was there! The food was badly cooked - the whole experience was a complete disaster - particluarly as my frineds were from across the Atlantic and wanted the experience of a good UK pub. Oh dear, it used to be so good, but has falled upon bad times. Its only redeeming feature - to give it the one star - is that it looks very pretty on the outside - and has a delightful outside garden under the trees.
