Poor Company

A poor service - we instructed this company to do a full structual survey on a property we were purchasing. At the time we explained to the receptionist that took our money and booked it in that we were looking to complete on the 15th December 2010. This was great as they agreed to do it immediately. They done the survey on the 30th November 2010 and we were told that we would have the survey within 7 days. This day came and went and no survey appeared. We called and was told that the survey was just being sent out and we would be in receipt in a couple of days....On the 15th Dec we finally moved and still no survey. We then chased and said if we didn't get it through we would have our money back. Eventually we insisting on them emailing it to us. Then out of the blue after Christmas we received a call from the new owners of our OLD house to say that the survey had been sent to their address and was actually posted the day we moved! Now we have major problems in the house - all the Electrics need to be replaced, there is damp from the roof all of which had not been picked up on the survey. This survey is not worth the paper it is written on!
