Cafes and Snack Bars in Southwold

Taking morning or afternoon coffee in this handy, centrally located (let's face it, very little is not central in Southwold) coffee shop has very much become part of our routine any time we stay for a few days in sunny Southwold. It's on the High Street and it's a fairly steep descent down some steps into the below street level cafe. Obviously then there is no natural light or sea views from the place (joke if you've ever been there!) But that doesn't really matter. It's a pleasant cellar like environment which seats twenty maybe thirty people although I've never actually seen it too full.Main good point is that there is a long list of different coffees to choose from, freshly brewed in varying sizes of (I'm going to spell this wrong I know) cafetieres and they are all lovely. The cakes/scones etc seem fresh and there's usually freshly made soup etc if you are so inclined.Service seems perfectly fine and it's not extortionatley expensive by any means.Toilets are a bit of a squeeze...clean though!
