A Restaurant and Bar based on a lorry park at Nacton.
Olives and Dickies is the service building at Orwell Crossing Larry Park.
We provide good quality food for the general public as well as our hungry lorry driver guests.
My husband and two children and I had a Sunday lunch here yesterday. Kids had burger and chips each and us adults had a full roast dinner/carvery for £5.99. I would not fault the food or customer service at all. The beef was good quality and you could help yourself to as much of the veg - roast or boiled potatoes, carrots and some pickeled spiced red cabbage. I would have liked to have seen some peas on offer, but the home-made yorkie pudding made up for it. The gravy was made from meat juices and was lovely. Great value for money, nice food, nice waiter. Makes a change to leave a good review about a place for once!
