Best curry this side of Brick Lane!
Dubious looking restaurant from the outside but highly recommended by our indian friends. I knew the food would be good when got inside as nearly all the clientele were Indian. One of the bust Indian meals I have ever had. We have since taken some friends who equally as impressed.

Excellent food
I concur fully with every other review praising the food. My reasons for witholding a full five is a combination of the unflattering lighting (none of my male friends care a toffee so this is a girl thing) and rather more importantly if one goes with a large party the service does seem to take a very long time. Neither of these moderate complaints will stop me going back and considering it the best indian food in Ipswich.

Best curry in Ipswich.
I have a feeling that any negative reviews may have been left by rival restaurant owners as I don't have a bad word to say about this place. Fantastic food, great staff, family friendly. The best curry house in Ipswich. If I have add a negative point its that the decor could do with a refresh (but then how many well designed curry restaurants have you been to?). And why do these places have to have photos of the desserts on the menus? I like to be surprised.

Horrible and Discriminating
I had a very bad experience with Keralam Restaurant. It is quite evident from their behaviour that they don't welcome customers especially family with babies. Just today, I went to Keralam in the evening, initially they gave a seat just near to the entrance, I requested them to give another seat because my baby was sleeping, they move us twice and then later asked whether we have any reservation or not. It was very embarrassing for us, so we decided to leave the place. Instead of apologising, they showed a very rude behaviour and passed comments on our back. I will suggest all of you not to visit this unfriendly place in future. I am also planning to file an official discrimination case against Keralam Owner.

FANTASTIC!
I have been here a few times and the food is to die for - authentic southern indian, rather than bangladeshi like most "Indian" restaurants. Try the Dosa's!!! And if you're not sure what to chose because its not your usual "Indian" menu, go for a Thali - just ask!
