This pub is a little strange as it has two doors for entrance enough to confuse a sober person let alone a drunk one. It is a very popular pub that even sells it's own merchandise. My husband like to frequent this pub once a week, he seems to enjoy it. For me it is a starter pub where I meet up with friends have one or two drinks then go to somewhere else, I find it a little cold and stark to stay in all evening. The floor is bare and I have never noticed any music playing. The conservatory area is much better as there are large wooden tables out there good for a crowd of you though they go quite fast, then you can look through the local menu's and have your food delivered there, they will give you plates and cutlery as ,long as you clean up after you, though they do the washing up (thank god). They do lots of real ales drinks and often have quest ales in also.
