Good for a chain pub
If in Burton we often pop here for lunch. Extensive menu with good choice for vegetarians. Their steak and ale pie is lovely. I've always found the staff very friendly.Often the meals at 2 for 1. Unlike most other 2 for 1 it isn't a "chips with everything" kind of place. Different types of potatoes and veg avaliable with most meals.Can get very busy on a Sunday lunch time with most of the tables appearing to be reserved. Sunday is also the day they do a carvery. There is a huge beer garden and ample parking. Very much a family friendly pub.
