Quality pub!
Really nice pub, serves good food and the beer isn't too expensive either! The Sunday carvery is also absolute quality and proper value for money! There's a wide selection of beers, both draught and bottled. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed – but sometimes the pub is so packed it's hard to find a seat!!The only downside is that we were recently told that they have stopped showing Sky Sports, so football viewing on a Sunday afternoon is out the window! Having said that, I am sure they will still be showing a few England games this year.There are also live bands and entertainment (quiz etc) every night of the week.

Great Sunday Roast
Very traditional pub with a big student clientele and great atmosphere. Reasonable priced and delicious Sunday roast. Also serves a large range of real ales
