Good Italian
This italian is upstairs in the oasis and is tucked into the corner, slighty out of the way which in no way reflects the resturant's worth. if anything it does make you feel like you are in a proper resturant rather then somewhere to eat in a shopping centre. Once sat at the table a selection of bread and olive oil is brought, which is very authentic european resturant behaviour, this adds to the experience.The place is near to the cinema and also good for end of a shopping day.Not likely a resturant i would go to unless going to be at meadowhall due to the location in relation to where i live. The food is good and not badly price.

Mama Mia!
Mama Amalfi's is an Italian restaurant located in the upstairs of the Oasis part of Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield.I found the menu quite expensive and the portions not that generous fro the money, although a nice touch was as we waited we were served a lovely bread and olive oil dip. The food was served on overly large dished I suppose to make it look bigger than it actually was, nevertheless my pasta was cooked to my liking and the sauce was lovely.We did have to wait rather a long time for our food and I'd say it's nothing really special. People were queueing to get in at one bit it approached the busiest part of the evening.I liked the fact we could look over the glass balcony a we ate (or waited for our meal!) which was nice, the place was buzzing so it has a nice busy atmosphere.I wouldn't make the trip especially to this restaurant but if you're going to see a film, go shopping or meet a friend then it's an ideal place.
