Still problems after a big bill!!

I took my pet to the surgery after getting quotes as it was the cheapest! It definately proves cheapest is not the best as it seem all that has happened is that the problem has only been half sorted. When I explained my pet still had the same problem I brought him in with she did not offer a free check up she stipulated, 'I will have to charge for consultation'. After I explained I could not afford even more pet bills due to my circumstances she fobbed me off telling me to try and get help from a charity. I would say pay that little bit extra for a job well done and don't go for the cheapest option!! BIG MISTAKE and a costly one at that.

Mobile Vet

I first used Pet Medic because I was physically unable to get my dog to the Vet and he was not ill enough to warrant a home visit. This Vet started out as purely mobile but she now has a Clinic in Adwick. She still does home visits though as she recognises that getting an animal to the Vets can be stressful for all concerned and that a Waiting Room isn't always the best place for a distressed animal.I have visited the Clinic and had home visits. On both occasions I was struck by how personable the Vet was with my pet. In the past I find the Vetinary Nurses seem to connect with the animals whilst the Vet remains a little aloof...not this one.As Vets go, you get the usual array of things at the Clinic and on that basis alone, it's not better or worse than any other Vets. But it's the service that makes this one stand out. Friendly, helpful and sympathetic and not above some wry humour where it is appropriate. And if I feel happy and comfortable then this must transmit to my dog too.
