Would NOT Recommend

We would not recommend to anyone. Windows in the main house (new build) windows not sealed correctly in the fact that the beading was not up against the glass (could get a credit card in between the glass and beading). Had to involve NHBC in order to help rectify as builder who apparently also owns window company refused to accept there was a problem after sending someone out. Builder also put in place a conservatory via same window company (he cannot decide who installed it though, the window company or the building company); also states not under guarantee - have proof that it is, and it is covered under the sale of goods act. The conservatory leaks, and the door has also dropped. Again builder refused to acknowledge the problem untill spoke with Trading Standards and letters started going back and forth between us for approx. 3 months. Stated could offer no further assistance when sent a joiner to do a water test, which had to be chased up. Took day off work and turned up just before 5.00 pm, and it didn't leak so refused to accept there was a problem. Cannot finish the conservatory off and furnish to use. Now paid for a chartered surveyor to obtain a report for Court in order to retrieve refund. Builder given 2 months to rectify and a further month to refund full payment (and 2 chances to settle for half the cost if willing to settle out of Court) but has not taken this up. Report shows a number of defects with the conservatory. Also the day 2 workers turned up to see to windows in main house they informed that builder had asked them to look at the conservatory - too late - had had 2 months to rectify before we asked for refund, and we had already paid for a surveyors report. Did let them lift the door because was getting worse and having problems closing, but this was short lived, has dropped again.
