We recently had Apex do our loft conversion. Why? From start to finish they did an excellent job. Of the companies we approached for initial quotes, Woody shone above the rest, with his knowledge of the rules and regs and his innovative ideas, which finally swung our decision in his favour. The 4-cluster velux windows and the glass floor were things we never even considered - so glad we took his advice. The finished product is excellent, fitting in perfectly with the existing decor, and all completed well within agreed time limits. I would recommend Apex without hesitation.

We employed Apex to do a loft converstion and were delighted with the end result. All the guys were friendly and professional and we were delighted to follow Mr Woodcock's suggestions for the velux window combinations which had a massive impact on the room! I would have no hesitation recommending Apex. Diane c Apex was recommended to us by previous customers who had nothing but praise for his workmanship. Paul, the owner of Apex came out to see us with innovative ideas and a reasonable quotation. The work was carried out on time and efficiently with not too much mess and disruption to the rest of the house. The six velux windows which were installed have transformed the room, which now feels light and airy. The staircase design that Apex created meant that we didn't loose any space from existing rooms and also kept the loft room large without taking out space for the entrance. The conversion has created well needed and loved space within our house and we cannot recommend Paul and his team enough. If you want an innovative design and an exceptional finish on your conversion Paul is the person to call. John G Apex were called in to renew a 110 year old roof that was leaking badly. Paul showed us that we would be able to double the amount of usable space in the roof with a loft conversion. The conversion process gave us a huge usable space with lots of natural light. The use of modern insulation also made it the warmest place in the whole house - Anyone who lives in a old house will realize what an advantage this is! We now have a modern space sitting neatly at the top of a period property Paul helped us keep the traditional feel throughout by commissioning new doors that match the existing ones in the house. Even the regulation fire doors match exactly to the originals. Shane C A top quality job done by APEX. Our once dark and small Attic is now bright and twice the size with an en-suite. APEX are very clean and professional. Money worth spent Cristos p After moving into a renovated mill we were disappointed to find that the builders had covered the old beams and steel work in the roof with a modern suspended ceiling. After recommendations we contacted Woody at Apex. Even though the project was four stories up Woody was happy to take on the project. He provided a quote that I am please to say remained fixed. To add additional light two Velux windows were added to the roof. He arrived bang on time with a motivated workforce. The project was completed in 4 days ready for his plasterers. I must say that everyone who sees the room with the exposed beams and Victoria ironwork are really impressed. I would recommend Woody without hesitation.

So good we used them twice
Apex did a fantastic job on our loft conversion, creating two good sized rooms and a bathroom for our growing family. They hardly entered the main part of the house until the very end - they got in to the loft using scaffolding and a gap they made in the roof. This meant no disruption which was really appreciated. The whole project was done quickly, to a high standard and at a reasonable cost. We were so impressed that when we bought an investment property that needed a loft conversion we immediately phoned Woody at Apex. Once again he organised a superb job. Adding two bedrooms and another bathroom not only increased the rental income from the property - the top floor became a major selling point for the house

Small loft.
From start to finished these guys excelled, we only have a small loft but the way woody has used velux's in our loft it has been transformed into one of the best, if not the best rooms in our home . We were recommended in the first place and are so glad we did not go with any other firm we also got quotes off.

loft conversion
so glad we picked apex. Woody and co were spot on, they gave us great advice and have some cracking ideas. woody matched up our oak staircase superbly, no other firm came up with initial ideas like apex did. Very refreshing to find someone who is passionate about doing a good job, no corners cut in this house !! 100% recommended.

We had five companies visit our loft space to discuss various options for conversion. Some of them were very negative about the space available and shape of the roof. When apex visited Woody gave some really creative ideas and had a very positive attitude to making the most of the spoace available. The staircase fitted looks like it has always been part of the house.We'd definately recommend the team. They stuck to time limits and costings and tidied up after themselves.
