lowtrow cross campsite
a small and peaceful site in exmoor. the site is adults only, the shower block and toilets are extremely clean as are the washing up and laundry facilities. there is a cabin on site which sells basic supplies,plus has leaflets and other info about the local area.Dogs are allowed if kept under control. the surrounding scenery is lovely although the exmoor weather can be damp to say the least! the site is some distance from the nearest village or town although there is a pub at the entrance to the site which does meals which we didn't try. and finally for those who cannot live without their mobile phones then be warned, there is virtually no reception in this area at all!
