Originally the Rectory of St James' Church from the 17th century to about 1975 The Old Rectory has been a haven for guests for many years offering quality bed & breakfast accommodation with charm and character and that little bit extra.
Rosemary and Adrian are delighted to welcome you to this period Georgian House set in a quiet oasis close to the bustling centre of Telford Shifnal & Newport; the footpaths over the Shropshire hills historic Ironbridge & Much Wenlock.
We are a Quintessentially English Guest House offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation, Afternoon Tea and Evening Meals. Free WiFi and ample car parking, Situated in one acre of grounds 5 minutes from Telford Centre and 10 minutes from Ironbridge, All rooms are well appointed and recently refurbished and modernised, without losing its 17th century character.Four rooms are ensuite and one is with a private bathroom. Rooms are either twin or double and are also available for single occupancy. We offer a quiet retreat from either a busy business day, or a hectic day touring, cycling or walking.
We use local produce wherever possible in the preparation of the meals offered. We are able to cater for Vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free diets. Please inform us if you require these options when making a reservation.
