VET PRACTICE * HOSPITAL CARE * EMERGENCIES. Find us at www.animalhealthvets.co.uk. The Animal Health Centre is a friendly, family-run veterinary practice in Shrewsbury specialising in pet health. Hendrik Fahrenholt, who owns and runs the Centre, is an experienced vet with an advanced RCVS accredited veterinary qualification (similar to a Human Hospital Consultant). The Animal Health Centre has all modern medical diagnostic and surgical equipment. The facilities have been specially designed to comfort and relax your pets. Appointment times are longer at no extra cost as we like to get to know your pets well. Staff stay on site overnight to ensure in-patients receive the very best care. The Animal Health Centre is close to Radbrook and Meole Village and is also convenient for Belle Vue, Kingsland, Coleham, and Monkmoor. It is also easily reached from the areas in and around the villages of Newbold, Annscroft and Longden. We are easy to find; a large, well-lit road-side sign directs you to our spacious car park, right by the main entrance and we are close to the Nuffield Hospital and Meole Brace and Priory Schoolss. The Animal Health Centre is wheelchair accessible and has an airy waiting room with alcoved seating for privacy, smart cloakroom with baby-changing facilities, and even an outside waiting area for those animals who prefer to wait outdoors. Please pop in to meet our team, have a look round and find out why so many of our doggy clients leap through our doors into reception, with tails wagging, happy to see us. For more information, or for friendly free advice on any pet health matter, please call us on 01743 369 999.
A member of the:- Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; The Veterinary Cardiology Society; Committee of the Shropshire Veterinary Association. We follow Feline Advisory Bureau Guidelines for the treatment of cats.
All veterinary services, from routine advice about for example, flea treatment, neutering & vaccinations, through to complex surgery, ultrasonography and reconstruction. We also provide a veterinary cardiology referral service - ie: where other vets refer complex cases to us for diagnosis and treatment advice.
We have been bowled over by the kindness and care at The Animal Health Centre on the Longden Road. Medical expertise combined with a real understanding of how to respect and care for animals. Thank-you for all you have done.
