COOKER HOOD REPAIR

Andrew pieced together my cooker hood which had quite a few parts missing and broken buttons due to a recent house move. He was very helpful, and sourced replacement parts, and carried out the required repairs, he was quick efficient and very reasonable with his charges, I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

New cooker

Dishwasher - excellent service

Dishwasher would not work after flood caused by badly fitted water filter. Andrew fixed the problem and gave suggestions re the water filter which is not a household appliance. Would happily recommend him.

Andrew repaired my washing machine leak...

Andrew was excellent - he turned up on a freezing morning and was no doubt less than impressed by a) the freezing outhouse where the machine was located and b) the fact I'd disassembled the top of the machine myself!! Anyway, he investigated and discovered that the drain hose had a big hole in it, we think having been chewed by a large rodent! Never seen anything like it before. He replaced the hose and left the machine re-assembled, and working fine after no more than 30-40 minutes or so, at very reasonable cost, even after cutting himself on a sharp edge on the machine. He was friendly, cheerful and extremely professional - I have no hesitation in recommending his services 100%, and will certainly use ReliableRepairs again whenever the need arises. Replacement oven installation

Broken Washing Machine

My 10 year old Hotpoint Aquarius washing machine had broken down. Andrew said if he could not fix it he had an LG washing machine that he recommended that I could buy from him. He went out of his way to come round on Saturday afternoon at the time he said with the new washing machine if mine could not be repaired. I now have a brand new washing machine. He took the time to show me how it worked and he was very chatty and friendly and such a good sense of humour! I would definitely recommend. Thank you Andrew

Liebherr Fridge Freezer icing up.

Andrew was easy to get hold of and pleasant to deal with. He arrived when he said he would and sorted the problem quickly & efficiently. He warned me that the fault might re-occur and might then need a spare part. His charge was exactly as discussed over the phone. Finally, he took payment by credit card, which again was excellent.

Brilliant, Friendly, Reliable - and Witty !

I am so happy with the excellent service that I received from Andrew today ! He was very friendly and professional, from start to finish. He began by giving me a courtesy call to let me know when he was on his way and in no time at all, he had replaced my cooker oven's broken element. He was then was able to help with 6 dodgy/ broken lamps of various kinds. These small and probably rather petty jobs are actually very important to me, as it means that I now have matching lamps in several rooms again, so I am a very happy customer and am thrilled that Andrew took the time to do it all. In fact, he even took one home with him to repair as I wanted it to be fixed so badly, and has taken photos of another strange lamp which I am desperate to get fixed, in an attempt to find an elusive spare part, so he has really gone way beyond the call of duty, and was great fun and very witty while he worked! I am trying to get him to try his hand at stand up in between his duties as a brilliant and efficient electrician! I can highly recommend him and will certainly be referring Andrew and Reliable Repairs to all of my friends and neighbours, thanks Andrew ! I promise not to keep breaking those lamps !

Washing machine diagnosis and replacement

Andrew visited today to diagnose a problem with our Bosch washing machine. He altered the appointment time at short notice to meet our requirements. This was the first indication of the excellent service he provided. Within a short space of time Andrew confirmed our suspicion that the bearings on our machine were about to give up. He then recommended a suitable replacement (LG F12B89NDA) and installed it later the same day, again at a time that suited us. The machine is super quiet, A+++ energy rated and very water efficient. All in all, excellent service and I won't hesitate to recommend 'Reliable Repairs' to my friends.

Dishwasher Repair

I posted a review last week raving about Andrew at Reliable Repairs, but for some reason Touch Local have lost it!!? So here it is again, the guy is a genius, he worked out the problem and fixed it within the hour! Having had a couple of other so called engineers out who couldn't even open the door, Andrew had it nailed, and incredibly good value for money. Fridge Freezer

My first encounter with Andrew has been superb. From the diagnosis to the installation of the new item was less than a week. He even dropped off a loan fridge at the weekend for us. Cannot thank Andrew enough. Came out at short notice, on his day off, to fix my washing machine, which had stopped spinning, and replace my dishwasher, which was beyond repair. Washing Machine Smoking

Following a visit by the local Fire Service to smoke coming from our washing machine I contacted Andrew (I had not used him before) and he came round the next day. After a thorough check he could have told us anything but was honest enough to confirm that there was nothing fundamentally wrong with the machine. Instead of a monster bill we now have a working machine and someone who we will not hesitate to use again when needed for any of our domestic appliance repairs.

GRILL

Freezer

Excellent and very prompt service. My washing machine was repairable, and Andrew provided me with a quote (the machine was over 10 yrs old). He was also very honest and said it was a lot of money to spend on such an old machine and to think about replacing it. He quoted me for a new machine and left it with me - no pushy sales, just some useful pointers to think about when choosing a new machine. A week later and mine eventually packed up - I phoned him to order a new machine and he had it here, and installed within the hour. Would recommend again.

He came when he said he would, very quickly! the machine was not beyond repair but the part for my old tumble dryer would be expensive so we decided on a new one which, he then supplied, fitted and took the old one away, no extra charge! where can you get that kind of service these days? Andrew is not only reliable but also very honest. Our tumble drier stopped working and I was planning to get a new one but my husband convinced to try and find a repair man. Top Job,,,,Top Price...Top Fella !

Our dishwasher was not completing its final rinse cycle...traumatic times in the house having to wash them by hand, so we were desperate to get it fixed. A Landlord's view

I live nearly 3 hours away from my tenants, so when there were problems with 2 of the appliances I called Andrew. He is used to dealing with distant clients in similar situations and after trying hard to save the appliances, he recommended excellent replacements saving me hours of research. Great work

First Class Service at a Competitive Price

When my Hotpoint fridge/freezer broke down and the manufacturer quoted two weeks to get the parts and make an appointment for an engineer to fit them, I called Reliable Repairs. What a godsend!

The carbon brushes in my washing machine's motor had worn out (I do put it through a lot), so I called Reliable Repairs to see how soon it could be fixed. I got a call back very quickly, and the parts were ordered right away. They arrived today, and the engineer was friendly and knew what he was doing! Quick and efficient service

Washing machine broke down so emailed Richard that evening for a price for a new machine delivered and installed. reliable repairs

I called Reliable Repairs on Saturday lunchtime. I was called back in the afternoon and an appointment made for Monday. I have been out today to meet the engineer, who could not have been more prompt or helpful. While many engineers woud have looked at the washing machine and suggested it was time to replace it, he looked, thought and made repairs and adjustments. Washer/Drier rescued

I saw your van drive past me the other day and thought I'd drop you a line to say thank you . Around Easter time you installed a Beko 7kg washing machine to replace my Bosch after its 10 years' service. I love this new machine - it's brilliant! It washes really well, I love the quick wash and the ease of temperature adjustment, and it spins really well. It's also quiet and of course, quick on the daily wash programme. I would recommend it as a great machine for a family with boys. You've always been excellent when we needed repairs to the old machine - prompt, reliable and I'd recommend you to everyone.

fantastic and friendly

my washing machine was blocked, (with 38 p in coins, and a nintendo ds mariokarts game!) machine is working again! so is the DS game, even after being in water for days!

Lynn Morley

Brilliant response to my phone call. Washing machine was stuck on 60degrees!! Andrew came along first thing in the morning and fixed it for me saving me a whole new circuit board or new machine!! Very friendly, extremely knowledgable and not expensive. Would recommend time and time again .

Fantastic Service

Phoned as I had a problem getting the bottom oven that we had inherited with our new house to work. Was given very helpful free advice over the phone - Turns out it wasnt broken just in the wrong mode! Very friendly customer service given and time taken to explain to me exactly why it wasnt working and how to deal with it should it happen again.

Dishwasher repair

I contacted Reliable Repairs about a problem with my dishwasher and was advised what the problem was likely to be and also that, as the manufacturer would still be covering parts under the guarantee, that it would be cheaper for me to use them which I will do. I would be very happy to use Reliable Repairs in the future as they are obviously trustworthy and give the best advice even when it does them out of business.
