Wine Tasting

Wine Tastings on Sundays are a regular feature at our Wine Barn. Wine producers are often
in attendance to meet you and answer all your questions about their wines.
These are very popular and enjoyable occasions where you can taste real quality wines at very reasonable prices.

I'm pleased to let you know that we have rebooked Valerie Castan from Domaine Castan, Languedoc, France for a special tasting here on Sat 19th May, from 4pm to 7pm.

Valerie is flying over specially on the day from the south of France to be with us and present her wines.

This is a unique opportunity to speak to the producer and taste her delicious wines.

There will be some attractively priced young and fruity dry whites including delicious, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, dry Muscat and Grenache and Carignan reds together with examples of the flagship blended reds and what I can only describe as a 'French Port' fortified red wine - unique to the area.

Although we'll be concentrating on Valerie's wines we'll also have some other South of France wines, to offer a comparison.

This a great opportunity to taste some excellent and also unusual new wines never ever seen in this country before.
