The Lismore Hotel is friendly and informal. It is a very comfortable and tastefully furnished Victorian home. All rooms have private bathrooms, colour television, direct dial telephones, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, fresh orange juice and provisions for tea and coffee making. There is full central heating throughout. Our two Honeymoon suites both have four poster beds to add to the special occasion. The hotel has a small conference room suitable for up to 15 delegates.

An extensive choice of freshly prepared food is available throughout the day, and can be taken in the restaurant or the bar. The wine list is comprehensive. There are fine wines as well as a good choice of more moderately priced wines from Spain, Italy and Germany.

The bar lounge retains the original Victorian oak panelling, with an open log fire during the winter months, where you may enjoy a drink before or after your dinner. There is a well stocked bar with a wide selection of beers and spirits.

All of our rooms are slowly being decorated to bring the quality of the rooms to a standard much higher than you would expect for a small local hotel. Each room has decor matched to its size and furniture, giving a warm ambience and undeniable quality. As we work through the hotel we are ourselves finding out what a truly amazing building we have got.

All our rooms have private en-suite bathrooms, the usual tea and coffee making facilities as well as our own special touches. Each room has fresh orange juice and mints to welcome you that little bit more. There are iron and ironing boards in every room, and if your stay is longer than expected, we can even help with your laundry needs.
