Once was seen as posh, not anymore!
The Elms Hotel use to be seen as the posher pub in Retford where it was fashionable for all functions.Sadly it has declined quite badly over the last few years from very good food to cheap and kind of cheerful food with the 2 for £10's on almost every meal on the menu.Sadly the food is adequate at best and working out to be slightly more than your typical fast food meal its quality is just that, slightly better than a fast food meal.Its only saving grace is that it is quite a nice Hotel too and nice enough to have a quick pint or two but there is so much better food around (literally 5 minute walk away is the Whitehouses pub).A quick revision: You can now get some main meals for £3.49, McDonalds anyone?
