My husband and I spent the evening here on Saturday night for our wedding anniversary and it was really lovely. The room was a nice size with a nice size bathroom, TV, kettle, tea & coffee, power points etc (although no mini-bar / fridge), and the best thing about it was that it's right in the middle of the city without it intruding on your peace & quiet. They have a restaurant & bar which we didn't use but we did buy drinks which we took to our room & they were reasonably priced. I'm afraid I couldn't comment on the prices of the room / value for money because we were given it as a gift (aren't we lucky?!). I always pay particular attention to the fire escape procedures & they were detailed really well, so that's a plus! The bed was really comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was really nice & the lady was quite accomodating, which again was a plus 'cos I was a bit hung over... Both of the staff we encountered were really helpful & friendly. We feel like we've had a realy break & would use this hotel again. Hope this review has been useful for you!
