Excellent
Wouldthorpe Tandoori is a great place to visit for a family night out or with a partner. It is affordable and the service is excellent. I go there daily and i really enjoy their dishes. It has a friendly atmosphere , the staff are very friendly and well dressed. I would recommend it to anyone as it also has free parking spaces for customers.

Years of service and a birthday
This is by far one of the finest indian cusine restaurants in Nottingham, you get a real fresh feel from all the food knowing that everything is prepared properly and that no dish is rushed to be served even at the very busiest of times. I recently had my 18th birthday family meal here the whole event went off without a hitch and was highly entertaining with drinks flowing and excellent conversation between staff and customers. it really seems like the staff take pride in what they do.

Fantastic Food
A real family friendly place with polite and consistent service, an extensive range of dishes (plus they will make any dish you ask for hotter or cooler as required) and a lovely atmosphere. They use home grown spices, which you can really taste in their food and the staff are all very friendly. Both my children (4 & 6) absolutely love it here - better than McDonalds!

Tough meat
Me and my partner have been here quite a few times and we have always spent good money in doing so. We have always enjoyed it but the last time we went My partner ordered a lamb dish and the meat was so tough I mean you couldn't even cut through it when my partner told them they said that it was the way the curry is because its cooked in a clay oven which is fair enough as it does make the meat a bit tougher but you couldn't even chew it and he has had this dish before and it wasn't like that last time. My partner never wastes his food but he had to leave it. Unfortually we will not be eating here again which is a shame because the staff are friendly and the setting is great but when you spending good money you don't want to hear excuses like that. Other than that the curries have always had great flavours and the food has always been on time.

Finally I have found a great Indain restaraunt!
I have lived in Nottingham a few years and I would like to say not only do they make the best tasting curry that I have had here but Woodthorpe Tandoori are also very consistent in their quality which seems to be a unique quality in this city. Whats said about the friendly reception is also true. You're looking for a quality curry - now you have found it!

Superb Friendly Indian
If you are looking for a quality Indian restaurant outside Nottingham City Centre then look no further than Woodthorpe Tandoori. Fully refurbished and a modern trendy design with no flek wallpaper...?!, the variety of Indian curries on offer is most impressive, especially the Balti dishes that come as a unique option such as Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi Balti. The host is so friendly and is a family-run business and they genuinely care about your well-being and food enjoyment. We travel a 20-mile round trip and would not eat anywhere else in Nottinghamshire for an Indian now, and this place has been run for over 10 years and testament to such a quality business.
