Awful shading on what would have been a decent design. Biggish tattoo too. Sloppy, untidy work. Not what I asked for. Very dissapointed. Had to go to a different shop and spent more good money getting a better artist to clean it up and make it look how it should have looked. Very slap dash on arrival too - should have given me a clue really, design wasnt done and the guy simply printed a few images from the web to trace. No thought or artistry went into it at all despite reassurances he could do the work I asked for. Will never go there again. Take my advice, dont trust the online or shop pictures. I think they are remains of work done by previous artists who no longer work at the shop.

Great place for piercings
I had my belly button re-pierced at Skinsmiths this week - I was really nervous and told the young guy who greeted me in the hope of getting some reassurance, but he didn't seem the reassuring type! I was put at ease by another guy who was just finishing a tattoo and by the guy who actually did the piercing. The fee was very reasonable (£25) and I got to choose which belly-bar I wanted (v.excited to have a lovely pink one!). The 'shop' was a lot smaller inside than I thought it would be & the tattoos and piercings were done at the back of the shop rather than in a seperate room, although there were other rooms, presumably for 'intimate' work. I'm really pleased with my new belly button ring & I'm glad I went to Skinsmiths.

old tattoo made new
i had a realy horrible tattoo, but dave did a cover up and made it look realy good! I WUDNT GO ELSEWERE FOR A TATTOO!

Brilliant
All the staff are helpful , the trouble they go to to put you at ease and make sure you get what u want is good, dave , ash are brilliant tattooist will be back again , skinsmiths is one of the best best tattooist i have ever been to

amazing
the place is relaxing with everyone doing a cracking job, the tattooist ash is amazing. I'm so pleased with what i have had done they are so helpful with design etc , will be back again

I went to skinsmiths for my 4th tat. And it was mint i will be going there many more times. The staff are pleasent and helpfull. They even helped with the artwork. Very pleased thanks carl
