Perfect Pizza!
I usually dislike restaurant chains for their formulaic menus and bland décor. However, this time I'm recommending a visit to Pizza Express simply because I LOVE the quality of the pizza. There is a good selection of pizzas with quality toppings that do NOT involve stuffed crusts and drowning by plastic cheese. I usually choose a thin base with spinach and ricotta and for me, this is heaven! I rarely find a restaurant that makes pizza that matches my expectations, in terms of quality of ingredients and a perfectly cooked thin base – but Pizza Express never disappoints me! This is strange as I'm normally rather skeptical when it comes to restaurant chains. Pizza Express salads are pretty good too with yummy dressings (from my experience) and the wine list is good. My only gripe is that having eaten in several Pizzerias in Italy, why is Pizza Express charging £9+ for a pizza?!

I have only recently started visiting pizza express and must say that I am delighted both at the quality of the food available and the variety. Their menu is very comprehensive and there is certainly something to please everyone. THe pizzas are on a thin Romana base which is lovely. I personally love the Sloppy Giuseppe which has lots of spicy beef, green peppes and onions I also rate the cannelloni very highly which is a vegetarian option which is filled with ricotta which is a soft cheese and is covered in bechemel sauce and tomato a very authentic Italian flavour. There is also a very good selection of deserts to try - if you can find the room.

Mmmm proper pizza !
Forget your Domino's/Pizza Hut americanised pizzaish nonsense. Pleasant eating environment; tables not too close together; good service. Now down to the nitty gritty: GORGEOUS FOOD! I have never had pasta at Pizza Express because the pizzas are too lovely. Thin base, cooked to perfection. I usually have the Soho Pizza which is tomato base, mozzarella, a pile of fresh rocket and parmesan shavings - sounds plain, but the quality of the ingredients sing to me! The Fiorentina is also a favourite of mine topped with cooked spinach and a free range egg with a soft yolk. The salads are good and so, of course, are the dressings. Not cheap but well worth the money.
