Shop Assistants

The shop assistants who entertained me were really nice! The first time I went there with my boyfriend, I was wearing jeans, shirt, a jacket and a pair of trainers so I thought that they were just going to ignore me but I was wrong. I've tried on pairs of Prada and Gucci shoes, which really really beautiful and the assistant was really helpful and brought me loads to try on that were not on display. The following day, I turned up dressed up a bit better with my newly purchased Vivienne Westwood bag I was treated just as nice. Unfortunately they didn't have my size of the Gucci shoes that I've really fallen in love with but they're now trying to get me a pair from either Birmingham or Cardiff. I can't wait to get that phonecall saying that they've arrived. Shoppers like me should encourage more designer shops in Nottingham as we are lacking them. This is by far one of my favourite shops in the Notts.

Every time I go in Flannels, I pick up a designer bag and have a look. Without exception, a shop assistant always comes over and coos, saying, "Oh, it's beeeeeeautiful, isn't it? I've just ordered one myself." Really? Well, I must be doing something wrong because I can't afford a £1000 handbag, yet the shop assistant can. Indeed, she seems to buy them a lot. I have a little sport where I'm trying to see JUST how expensive an item I can get them to claim they have bought! Despite this, I find them quite smiley and it's a cool shop. Don't knock it - there's not too many designer shops in Notts!

Well.. you walk into the store, they look you up and down.. if you look the part then they smile and are attentive. If you are not dressed to their 'standards' they snarl and stare rudely, no greetings or smile because they assume that you cannot afford to buy anything in the shop. But hold on one moment... is it me or is it them that is working as a shop assistant on minimum wage?? We love you pretentious shop assistants!!! x x x

I had a card through the door to say that Flannels would be open until 8pm on 6th November. I arrived at 7pm, only to have the door closed in my face by the shop assistant. Extremely rude.
