The Samosas are a must, nothing like those stodgy pasties you get elsewhere and the Jalfrezi is best you will ever find. Great value too and The host Sam always makes you feel welcome.

I have been eating at The Balti House since 1975. (Originally called the Curry & Grill). Come the Balti style of cooking, This was Nottinghams first Balti style Restaraunt. It's still the best. Early evening there is a special deal. Around six quid for starters and and choice of Balti meal with Naan. The decor is the same as it was when I started eating there in the 70's, and that's the way I Like it. I hope they never refubish the place, it would lose the atmosphere. Having said that its clean, as are the kitchens, which can be seen when staff enter and leave. If you want swish decor (and pay for it) try somewhere else, but you won't get a better meal, at any price. You can also eat traditional asian dishes here. They are licenced.
