About
Brunts is a top performing 11-18 comprehensive school in Mansfield, taking a high number of students from outside the catchment area. In recent years results have soared and the school is widely recognised as one of the best in the area. We aim to ensure that all children in our care Aspire, Enjoy and Achieve during their time at Brunts. Providing an all round education and ensuring children are secure in school is important to us. Our recent Ofsted inspection (April 2013) confirms that teaching, achievement, behaviour and leadership at Brunts is Good. Summer 2013 has seen us celebrating our best ever GCSE examination results, with 67% of our students gaining 5+ A*-C including English and Mathematics. The pass rate at Post 16 for Year 13 leavers is 99% with 36% of these passes being A*, A or B grade.
