Due to the current economic climate, a lot of companies are struggling . E tyres, however, continue to grow 40% year after year. Local franchisee Steve Noble believes this is due to the prices and the service. He said ‘While some companies are being negatively effected by the reccession, e tyres in Northampton has actually become busier. This must be down to the fact that people are becoming more price aware and therefore we are standing out even more.'‘Usually we stand out due to our mobile tyre fitting service. People are drawn to the fact that we can come to their work or their home address. But due to our low overheads we can afford to charge the customer less which makes us even more appealing. This has caused us to require more staff. Its good to be able to give work in a time when so many people are in need of it.'
