About us

Skipton Golf Club, founded in 1893, is nestled amongst the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on the edge of the historic town of Skipton. Golfers will find themselves captivated by magnificent views of Sharphaw, Crookrise and Embsay Crag. Eller Beck descends from the surrounding fells and provides a superb backdrop as it meanders through the back nine holes, three of which constitute our very own ‘Amen Corner'.

Visitors and members alike are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome from club staff and our long standing PGA Professional, Peter Robinson. You can enjoy good Yorkshire hospitality in our comfortable and spacious clubhouse. The extensive menu of home cooked food and the well- stocked bar are great compliments to the stunning long distance views over the Yorkshire countryside.

The course continues to win accolades for its presentation from both members and visitors thanks to an ongoing program of development and improvements over the last few years. Visitors continue to return year after year to enjoy the challenge that the course offers, many of whom have enjoyed our successful Open Events.

If you have work or family commitments our new Flexible membership option, which has proved extremely popular, brings you all the benefits of golf club membership at an affordable price.

All visitors are welcome at Skipton Golf Club and we are able to tailor packages to suit your specific requirements. We regularly host golf society and company days but we are also available for private functions, weddings and business events.
