Mist

Mist bar is one of Scarborough's newest, located on St Thomas Street next to the Opera House Casino.It has a lively, friendly atmosphere and the crowd tend to be quite smart. As such, it does seem to attract a slight more mature crowd than some of the other town centre bars and really does benefit from that. The food is excellent (the burgers are great and come in large portions). The bar staff are friendly and professional and you never seem to wait very long to get served. The decor is stylish and functional making this a nice way to either stop for a couple or even spend the whole evening. The fringe benefits of drinking in Mist include; a HM Forces discount in Cafe Mist (if you are eligable), the taxi ranks are within spitting distance when you leave, the Casino is next door and there is an excellent Indian restaurant (The Scarborough Tandoori) and two kebab shops within a few metres from the front door. Mist bar is one of Scarborough's finest and well worth a visit.
