About

Nicola and Terry bought the lease for the Oddfellows Arms on 1st July 2015.

The property owners Ged and Lin Stead along with Stuart and Caroline Baker had previously refurbished the pub and reopened it in October 2013. I'm sure you will agree they carried out the work to a very high standard giving an almost 200-year-old pub a new lease of life.

It was always our intention to have a FAMILY RUN, FAMILY FRIENDLY pub.
We started to do food in June 2016 and our daughter Samantha is our head cook with help from our daughter-in-law Carly. We also enlist the help of our son Steven and Samantha's partner Dave Taylor on the occasion we require extra hands. In addition, we have Sam Bowie, Rebecca Boakes, Rob Hall and Tyler Lambert who work on the bar for us. In addition we have Jake Barker who helps in the kitchen. We are always looking for new ideas so your comments are very welcome.

I hope you come and visit us and enjoy a friendly and comfortable time surrounded by new and old friends.

The Oddfellows Arms has become one of the nicest pubs in Northallerton. With a constant rotation of beautiful cask ales, many ciders and lagers on tap. All with a delightul liveliness and life in your glass. You can tell the lines are done with care, and often. What makes this pub special is the family who run it. Friendly, helpful, fun and kind and always make you feel welcome..... Hungry....??? Well go and eat at the oddies it's like your mums just cooked for you as you sit on the sofa watching the football. Yum yum yummy. Highly recommend.
