About

in Kuchnia (polish for Kitchen) Restaurant, first Polish Restaurant in Yorkshire, we serve value - not food. At affordable prices you can try something a little bit different but also very traditional.

My partner and I have been regular visitors here since we discovered it. Homely and friendly. Very tasty fresh food (try my favourite, the stroganoff) and very well priced. I have dined here with other people and have not heard a complaint other than they are too full to eat the large sized portions.

ove this place! The decor is homely - not pretentious. It's like having dinner in a cafe in Poland! The service is brilliant, friendly and efficient. A very attentive man took our coats. Broad menu - £7.50 for a starter (soup) and a main. Huge portions! They cater for vegetarians really well, too. I had the beetroot and tomato soup, and it was divine! The waiter brought out tripe soup extra, for the lads to try - and they liked it! Huge portions, food is traditionally Polish, fresh and homemade, and tastes fantastic. We were too full for desert! Wine choice is kept simple, and reasonable priced. The Polish beer is great, too. Bargain price, excellent service. We left £60 including a good tip - that covered 4 starters and mains, 2 beers and a bottle of red. Highly recommended
