Meet the team
Team member: Nick Jones
Role: Vet & practice owner
Nick has lived in Driffield for 28 years, working as a Vet at a small veterinary practice for 26 years. Nick Qualified in 1985 at Liverpool University.
Nick met his wife Debbie when he moved to Driffield, having noticed a beautiful women walking past him every morning on her way to work, Nick finally plucked up the courage to ask her out for a drink where he gave her a dazzling 30mins to get ready (true gentlemen) this led on to a marriage and 2 children, Eddie who has flown the nest and is studying hard at university and Katie who joins her mum and dad here at Bridge Street Vets, a lovely family for a lovely practice.
In his spare time “when there is any" Nick spends time with the family, tinkers with his classic cars and loves long walks with his two dogs, Archie the dopey retriever and Todd the yappy terrier.
Nicks dream when opening Bridge street Vets was to create a happy working environment where the staff enjoy coming to work, provide an excellent Veterinary service for local clients who he has come to consider as friends having helped many generations of their pets and Finally a Vets that has time for its clients, a place where people will want to visit.

November 2013
My husband and I would like to thank Nick Jones, his wife and the staff of Bridge Street Vets Driffield, for the wonderful care shown when we brought our cat George into the surgery last Friday. George was seriously ill when we arrived with him at the surgery and Nick showed compassion and understanding and explained what the treatment involved, George stayed the night and Nick visited him through the night to check on his progress. He is now on the road to a full recovery thanks to Nick and the wonderful care he gave him. We are glad we found a wonderful vet who sincerely cares for his animals.

Neutering your kitten as early as four months old reduces the chances of unwanted pregnancy and decreases the chances of your Tom cat starting to spray mark in the house.
