Pet Import for Animals Travelling to the UK

Pet Import for Animals Travelling to the UK

What you should do before arriving in the UK.

From pet immigration, to pets on holiday, Airpets Oceanic receive pet imports of dogs, cats and many other animals, daily from all over the world. These animals travel to the UK either under the Pet Travel Scheme or under full quarantine regulations.

The Pet Travel Scheme allows pets to travel to the UK without having to complete 6 months quarantine. (Please visit the Pet Travel Scheme page for full details).

Other pets travelling to the UK from countries that do not qualify for the Pet Travel Scheme, must complete 6 months quarantine, and arrive in the UK with an import permit. (Please visit the Quarantine Facilities page for more information).

For the quarantine, we will carry out all the important paperwork on your behalf once the deposit has been paid & date of arrival confirmed.
All you need to do is make the necessary pet export arrangements, following the requirements of the country concerned. Our pet quarantine department would be happy to provide names of Pet Travel Agents worldwide to help with your arrangements.

They filled out my dogs US customs forms wrong, meaning we almost weren't allowed to take him home. It took a lot of pleading with the customs agent for them to release him to us. They also gave us the wrong information on where to collect him, told me they could pick him up from our hotel when they couldn't, and told me they could do a fit to fly certificate before the flight but it turned out they couldn't because of our early flight time. It was a good job I called and double checked everything as the original person I spoke to was utterly useless. After this ordeal I emailed them to complain, I got a rude response, then when I asked for compensation I was completely ignored. I can't believe I paid £950 for this service. They shouldn't be able to get away with it! Horrible people.
