The company was set up in 1995 by Mrs Johal, it now has 3 Partners and several fee earners working with a team of trained support staff. The Solicitors are all experienced in their own fields and some are Law Society Panel members.

As a small firm we pride ourselves in the personal and efficient service which we provide to our clients. One of the most common complaints about Law firms is that the client rarely sees the fee earner with whom they originally met as work is delegated to junior staff. With this firm each individual fee earner will undertake the work for the client personally. Though assistance is often required by the fee earners from junior members of the firm, the clients contact will be with their instructed solicitor.

Our fees for private clients are competitive and explained in our Terms of Business which you will be handed to you when you instruct us. We can also assess you for Public Funding (Legal Aid) as the firm holds a Franchise in Family Work which includes Children's cases.

Johal & Co's expert Family Team offer committed, confidential specialist advice, representation and support in dealing with all types of family cases; including Children's matters. We will listen to and consider all aspects of your case and explore with you the best way of resolving your problems.

We offer fixed fee initial consultations and Public Funding (legal aid) for those who are eligible. Urgent appointments can be made at short notice.

Not all cases go to Court, it may be possible to resolve your matter through negotiation or conciliation and we can undertake these on your behalf; or it may be that we advise you that it is necessary to issue Court proceedings to achieve the required result for you and we shall then deal with this for you.

WILLS AND PROBATE
