Do not use this company
a day agoNEW I would advise extreme caution with this company. I employed them to complete a fairly large patio project in the spring. I had three prices submitted all very similar but chose Simon as he needed a break and having a business myself wanted to help. I have to say I was very pleased with the workmanship, however they stopped work mid way through amd it was only after numerous calls they said they needed £2k more to finish. Whilst I said this was not the way to conduct business I did agree as I had added an extra small section. The main problems started though when they started project 2 and 3. Project 2 was to add a wooden gazebo. The wood was delivered, however a woman subsequently called at house to tell me they had not paid for the wood. I also asked for ft ting to the.roof but was convinced by Simon to have.proper tiles, on such a lovely structure. I agreed and paid the.extra £600. He 'ordered' from a mate, and the excuses started when delivery dates were continually not met. The last excuse being he went to his house and ended up in a fight! I still 4 months later have no roof. At the same time they were to replace a fence running the length of my house and front garden in expensive red cedar, again I paid for the goods up front to help him out. To date, some 3 months later, I have some fence posts and continual excuses as to why the red cedar had not been delivered. He has since admitted it has never been ordered. I have given many many chances and solutions, even offering to accept a lesser product to get it finished, but my generosity has been kicked back at me with even more excuses. As this stands he has stolen £5000 from me and it will cost me a further £3000 to rectify the situation. This has now been passed to a solicitor and trading standards.
