As a non regular customer of Palace Balti Tandoori, I found the staff slightly cold and un-welcoming, dont get me wrong they were very efficiant, but they lacked the all inportant smile, as I walked trough the door etc... Also my waiter seemed unwilling to provide much advice on my choice of food, I understand that this is usually the case in some english restaurants, however as this was a foreign cuisine I would have liked a little more advice. The food was average, and reasonabley priced. The surroundings were slightly dated, but it was warm and welcoming. It is situated close to a large car park, that is free of charge to park on, however the area can get quite rowdy after dark.-To sum up The Palace Balti Tandoori, the food is good, the menu is limited if you are not a big fan of indian cuisine, the service is fast and efficient, but the area could be better
