Hatherlow House is an innovative development of 33 apartments which will offer a new lifestyle for couples to remain living together in a home of their own when one partner has dementia.
One and two bedroom properties are available to purchase, part-own or rent. All are purpose-built offering the latest security and design features to support independence in later life.

There’s a wide range of social events, so you never need to feel bored or lonely.
Meal times are a special part of the day for you to savour tasty food, freshly cooked by our chef to suit you and any dietary needs. And, of course refreshments are available throughout the day for you and your visitors, who are welcome at any time.

MHA’s specialist dementia care values each older person, their life experience and personal preferences. We focus on the well-being of each individual. Our staff members are available 24 hours a day, chosen for their compassion and respect for older people. MHA provides full training to nurture mind, body and spirit, supporting each person to reach their potential to enjoy fulfilled and dignified lives, whatever their needs. Flexible, individual care and support is available for one or both partners, to suit. We can also offer pioneering assistive technology to support couples, as required.
