Lost half a stone in 2 months

I had been going to the gym for years but never felt I'd pushed myself to my limite and failed to lose weight. I'm not excessively overweight but I have a bit to lose. I decided to attend the Bootcamp and fitness sessions and without changing my diet I lost half a stone in 2 months. I have now quit the gym and love going to the sessions with Max. All the people who attend are really friendly and supportive which helps to motivate you to go. Max is very knowledgeable and really aims to get the best out of you. His sessions are good fun but really work you all over using interval techniques.

After struggling with what I was trying to achieve with training, I was put in touch Max Merritt PT. I struggled with having not noticing much change over the months I had been working out. Max was quick to point out that this was probably the reason for not noticing. He immediately started 'Photo monday' where I would take a photo every monday so I could track my progress. He did my meal plan which fitted my lifestyle and need to eat healthy and personally tracked my progress pushing me along the way. Everytime he would make me do that little bit more. Extremely good advise with subtle kicks up the rear. 1 year on, 1 stone heavier and topless waiting.

Best personal trainer I've ever had. His bootcamps are particular good and really good fun. I've always exercised regularly, however, I never saw the results I wanted until I started exercising with max. I lost body fat, gained lean muscle and have been the most toned I've ever been! Max is really motivational and funny so it makes the sessions much more enjoyable. Can't rate him highly enough.

I have been training in gyms for 12 years now trying out all the new fat burning routines / types of training but always got bored and frustrated with not seeing the results I wanted!! But since doing these group pts not only have I been losing the lbs but my whole body shape has changed and my overall fitness has improved dramatically!! Max constantly keeps us on our toes and every session is different which keeps it exciting and fun!! He's very motivational and supportive!! I would recommend this service to anyone and I definitely will never be setting foot in a boring gym again!!

When you reach your 40's it gets harder to keep motivated and lose those mid-life pounds that creep up on you. Since starting with Max I have lost 1 and a half stone. But, more importantly my fitness levels have improved dramatically. He is a very good motivator and the exercises are varied and fun (well some of them) I would not hesitate to recommend Max. Try before you buy is also a great service. I for one will still be using Max Merritt PT Mike

i have worked with Max for a long time and i have lost lots of weight with him his sessions are always fun and differnet to the last and he tends to add a bit of fun and games so the sessions are more fun and we(me and other people have fun....+ i would recommend doing a few sessions with him before you notice the differnce e.g losing weight you don't want to keep on.etc

Having had gym memberships for over 6 years and not really enjoying the whole gym experience i decided to try something different by going to Max's group PT session and i am so glad i did! Having someone who knows your name and is there to motivate you is something i find very effective. We do something different and fun every session so its nothing like being stuck in the same old gym routine. I would definitely recommend Max as a personal trainer!

I have worked with quite a few personal trainers since the start of my gym career over 10 years ago now and Max is the best trainer I have worked with. He knows his stuff, he pushes you hard but not too hard that you can't go on and give up, he gives great advice and takes a holistic approach to fitness and training, using modern techniques with traditional common sense and established methods.
