I felt like is was in a road movie

We decided to pop into one of the OK Diners for a late breakfast and it was just like stepping into Thelma and Louise of something. I know sometimes places like this can feel really tacky and just not nice but to me this place really did have that authentic American diner feel. I would have loved to try one of their hamburgers but it was a bit too early so settled for one of their breakfasts. I wasn't disappointed, it arrived promptly and tasted great but the real star of the visit was one of their gigantic milkshakes, we had the strawberry and it was so big it arrived in a huge glass with the excess that wouldn't fit in in another holder so we could top it up when we were ready. it really was the best shake I've ever had - lovely and thick and creamy and happily, no brain freeze either.It was queit when we went in and the staff were great and everything arrived in good time and wasn't overly pricy considering that most places off the A1 tend to be pretty extortionate.I would heartily recommend the OK Diner, at least the one on the southbound side as this is the one we went to, the only thing missing was a cactus in the parking lot!
