Lovely and cosy on a cold winters day

Decided to pop into Carrington's as the menu sounded rather nice. Wander up the rather rickety stairs and into a quaint little dining area complete with beams and open fire. The mood was spoilt a little by the younger staff who seem a bit gruff when they ask for your order (not very politely) but you soon warm to them and realise they aren't as bad as they first seemed. After a lot of umming and ahhing over what to actually order as it all sound so yummy, we finally decided and everything arrived in good time and tasted fab. I was slightly disappointed that my tuna and cheese melt wasn't a bit more crusty but I think that was my fault for ordering the wrong thing. We took our table next to a lovely cosy wood burning open fire and it was really lovely to enjoy our meal in this atmosphere. Heartily recommended if you are in the area
