We took our 2 yr old Granddaughter to this café and were very disappointed. As we entered the café I overheard the waitress mutter to a colleague, in an annoying manner "I don't know how many more prams we can accommodate". If she didn't have room for prams, then why not ask people not to bring them in. I ordered our drinks and they were delivered by the same waitress. "Latte and a sparkling orange squash" she said, upon delivering the drinks. Because of the noise in the café and because I wear hearing aids I didn't quite hear her and repeated "Latte and sparkling squash" To which she very rudely replied "that is what I said!". Realising that I was very annoyed, the waitress tried to make amends by small talk. She said I'm sorry about the noise in here, to which I replied, the noise doesn't bother us at all. The noise obviously upset the waitress, otherwise she wouldn't have mentioned it. I asked my wife to pay as I didn't wish to have any further contact with such a rude person. My wife was asked if everything had been ok and my wife then told the waitress our thoughts on how we had been treated. The waitress did come after me and tried to apologise but by this time I was very upset. I asked her to take the advice of a customer and either improve her people skills or find another occupation that suited her better. The waitress, possibly the owner, was very rude and insensitive. We definitely will not be going back there again and neither will our friends.
