Precision Investment Casting with our Manufacturing Partners

ACS have many years' experience in all types of precision investment casting. Our manufacturing partners in China have an enviable reputation for manufacturing and providing quality precision investment casting in various materials that include:

Investment casting is a process (also know as the “lost wax process") that is over 5,000 years old. It was commonly used by the Egyptians for casting gold jewellery (hence the word ‘investment').
Investment Casting is a process that is especially useful for the manufacture of complex parts whether they are solid or whether they have complex hollow insides and channels.
The ‘investment' or ceramic mould is produced in three steps. The wax mould is dipped into a slurry of fine refractory material, following the dipping it is stuccoed with coarse ceramic particles before finally being dried over 24 to 48 hours. The dipping process can be repeated several times to create a thickness of between 5mm and 15mm depending on the part being cast and material being used.
Final machining of the parts is carried out on the latest CNC lathes and CNC milling machines in our manufacturing partner's sites.
