Wonderful outdoor play areas

We are a family run business who strive to maintain a happy, relaxed, home-from-home atmosphere. All our Early Years Educators are qualified and very experienced - they love making the childrens' experiences thoroughly enjoyable. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and all our children have a file showing their development journey whilst attending out setting and is a wonderful keepsake for parents. The babies have their own secure outdoor play area and we also have a play area at the side of the building and also a landscaped area at the front of the building where the children can climb tress, make a fairy grotto or simply, have a chat! Our cook, Margaret has achieved a 5* rating for her healthy food and clean kitchen. We have an open-door policy which means that we would love you to come to our setting at any time, have a chat, a cup of coffee and a look round - we are the best!

Wonderful Professional Early Years Educators

All our staff are dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who understand the needs of each individual child. When a child joins our setting, they are given a key worker who will not only be the primary carer for your child but also the parent's liaison. Strong bonds are made with both the child and their parent.

Early Years Development Stage (EYFS)

The EYFS has four themes which are: A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development which are governed by Principles and Practice. The guidance material to the EYFS states that "A Unique Child reaches out to relate to people and things through the Characteristics of Effective Learning" which move through all the following areas - three Prime areas of Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development are fundamental and support the development of all other Specific areas which are: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design. Our Early Years Educators watch and observe their key children, analyse their observations to decide what they tell them about their key children so that wonderful experiences, opportunities, good environments and appropriate resources can be planned for them. This is all carried out with the support and parental involvement.
