The Mountain® use organic reactive dyes to create their dye library of over 600 colors and 80% of the cotton used in the manufacturing of Mountain® shirts is grown in the US.
Also Mountain® use waterbase inks to create the amazing soft feel to their prints (99.5% of other T-Shirt printers use petroleum based ink to create their designs on apparel).
Mountain® shirts are 100% preshrunk cotton (even the thread that holds it together is cotton).
If washed according to label instructions, not only will your shirt stay at the same size as when you purchased it, but also the print will remain vibrant for years to come.

Mountain's Oeko-Tex 100 Certification (one of the highest certification worldwide) guarantees their shirts are free of chemicals harmful to your body.
In a time when many companies are only starting to look at with how to reinvent themselves as “green" The Mountain® has always worked in a way that respects the environment.
The cornerstones of being green for The Mountain® are the materials that they use to manufacture their t-shirts and also the environmentally friendly processes used at the factory such as the dye oxidation system. This purifies their manufacturing process waste water by removing color without the addition of chemical.
Because this process does not rely on the use of chemical it does not create dead water that has been stripped of its' oxygen, rather, it does the opposite in that the final product is enriched with oxygen.
The Mountain® has a unique printing process that actually pulls the dye color out of the shirt and leaves the ink color behind, essentially dyeing the cotton with the ink. The Mountain® Classic T-shirt features an over-sized relaxed fit, with reinforced double-stitching on all seams. After dyeing they are washed and dried, so they arrive to you comfortable, pre-shrunk & ready to wear.

Simon Knowles is the artis behind our enraved glass art. Using an old victorian tecnique, the images are hand engraved onto the glass and later hand painted and framed. The effect is simply stunning.
